152.3 Kmph! Jofra Archer Breaks The Speed Gun; Enters The List Of Fastest Delivery In IPL 2025

The Gujarat Titans are currently playing against the Rajasthan Royals in the 23rd match of the IPL 2025. The match is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.

The Royals won the toss ahead of the game and opted to field first. Jofra Archer, the opening bowler of the Royals was seen in a fiery rhythm from the very beginning of the game. The English pacer was seen peppering up the GT batters with some fast deliveries.

During the first over of the match, Jofra Archer bowled a ball that cloked 152.3 kmph on the speedgun. It was short delivery direceted at the body of the batter. Sai Sudharsan was looking to pull the ball but failed to make any connection. It looked like the batter was surprised by the pace of the delivery.

List Of The Fastest Deliveries In IPL 2025

Notably, the 152.3 kmph ball by Jofra Archer was the second the fatest delivery of this edition of the tournament. The record of the fastest ball for this season belongs to Lockie Ferguson, who clocked 153.2 kmph during the LSG vs PBKS match.

Incidentally, Jofra Archer has appeared two times in the top five list. The English pacer clocked 151.3 kmph in the match between Punjab Kings and the Rajasthan Royals. The fact that he has appeared twice in this list, speaks of the rhythm he has got in the tournament. Even though he got thrashed to all parts of the ground in the first couple of games, Archer has shown in clash and has made a brilliant return.
