A viral video of Australian cricketer Travis Head denying selfie requests from fans has created a huge online controversy regarding respecting personal space and privacy. Head, who is in India for IPL 2025, was spotted shopping at a supermarket when some fans began pursuing him for a selfie.

The IPL 2025 season is going in full swing with international cricketers having a good time playing competitive cricket. However, off-the field, some fans violated SRH opener Travis Head’s privacy.

An incident caught on camera is viral on social media, raising debate on fans’ obsession with cricketers and their personal space.

Travis Head Chased By Fans In Supermarket

SRH opening batter Travis Head reportedly went to a supermarket in India where a few fans chased him for selfies. In a viral video, even after the cricketer clearly said “no” several times, they continued to follow him, upsetting many viewers online.

One of the fans in the video can be heard complaining about Head’s attitude while others nearby watched the situation unfold. Many people on social media criticised the fans for not respecting Head’s privacy.

Some said the behaviour was rude and embarrassing. Others noted that just because someone is famous, it doesn't mean they owe you a selfie. Some users defended Head, indicating that celebrities need to have space and quiet, particularly when they are not attending a public event.

Head Yet To Explode In IPL 2025

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) opener Travis Head has had a mixed run so far in the IPL 2025 season. He began his campaign with a bang, smashing a fiery 67 against Rajasthan Royals, but has struggled for consistency since, failing to deliver a match-winning knock in his last three games.

With 140 runs from four innings at an average of 35 and a sensational strike rate of 191.78, the Aussie left-hander has shown glimpses of brilliance, but will now look to convert stars into big scores. SRH aren’t doing well either as they slipped to the bottom of the table with 4 losses in 5 games.
