Abhishek Nayar is one of them as Revsportz reported that the KKR mentor is set to get a bigger role in the team. Notably, Nayar, who was part of Gambhir's set-up in title-winning IPL 2024 season, but left the role to join team India as assistant coach. However, his sacking resulted in KKR reappointing him as a mentor.
Besides Nayar, Eoin Morgan is another name, who the management is looking to replace Pandit as the new KKR head coach. Besides the debate over the potential new head coach, there is another turmoil as reportedly an unnamed overseas star isn't happy with Pandit's treatment.
"Grapevine has it that an overseas player was taken aback when Pandit questioned him for going out for dinner with a rival team player, notwithstanding that they are teammates in their national side," the report added.
Talking about Eoin Morgan, the former England captain also led KKR in the past and took them the final. Further, the southpaw also enjoys a great relationship with KKR set-up.
