Dhoni made his India debut in 2004 and changed the way the world saw Indian cricket. From consistently smashing sixes to being one of the most successful captains in the history of the game, MS Dhoni has had an unforgettable journey.

He led India to three major ICC trophies: the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy, a mark of success that no captain has been able to surpass.

MS Dhoni celebrated his 44th birthday on July 7, 2025, in his trademark simple style at the JSCA stadium in Ranchi. Dressed in a sleeveless black T-shirt, the former India and CSK captain cut a cake and thanked JSCA staff, including president Ajay Nath Shahdeo, for their warm wishes.
