In a cute interview following India’s thriller victory over Pakistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup, Sanjana Ganesan teased her husband, Jasprit Bumrah. The latter had just helped India defend a lowly 120-run target at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, and Sanjana, the ICC-affiliated presenter, indulged in a cute banter. 

One of the most skilled Indian fast bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah got married to sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in a hush-hush ceremony way back in 2021. The two had secretly been dating for many years before deciding to commit to each other for life. The couple also welcomed a baby boy named Angad last year.

Meanwhile, the love story of Bumrah and Sanjana started from cricket grounds as the latter is an official sports presenter affiliated with ICC. She had interviewed Jasprit Bumrah several times in the past too and even after marriage, she conducted her duties during the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

In a viral video, Sanjana was seen interviewing Jasprit Bumrah moments after the bowler led India to a sensational victory over Pakistan. Defending 120, Bumrah picked up 3 wickets for just 14 runs as India sealed a thriller 6-run win. While the interview initially began with Bumrah explaining his heroics against Pakistan, Sanjana teased him at the end by asking him about dinner plans.

Even after India won the T20 World Cup, Sanjana interviewed Bumrah before the duo shared a warm hug on the field alongside baby Angad. Their cute chemistry and playful banter struck a chord amongst fans as they showered love on the couple. It resonated deeply with fans, symbolising “couple goals” in a high-pressure, professional environment.
