In a throwback moment from 2023, a viral video captured the lighter side of Team India's cricketers, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja, during the first Test match against Australia at VCA Stadium in Jamtha. 

The duo showcased their dancing prowess by attempting the viral steps from the chartbuster song 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan' from Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster movie, 'Pathaan.'


The video, which quickly became a sensation on social media, featured former India skipper Virat Kohli initiating the fun-filled dance session near the boundary, and he was soon joined by the star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Fans were left impressed by their infectious enthusiasm and groovy moves, turning the video into an instant favourite.

Amidst the dance revelry, India secured a commanding first innings total of 400 in the match, with entertaining contributions from Axar Patel (84) and Mohammed Shami (37). The second innings saw off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin wreaking havoc with the new ball, claiming a remarkable 5-wicket haul (5/37), including the prized scalps of Usman Khawaja, David Warner, Matthew Renshaw, Peter Handscomb, and Alex Carey. Ravindra Jadeja also played a crucial role, bagging three wickets.

India's resounding victory by 132 runs in the first Test not only marked a significant step towards a second World Test Championship (WTC) final berth but also extended the wait for Australia, led by Pat Cummins, to confirm their spot in the title round.
