'A Complete Package' : AB de Villiers wants RCB batter Will Jacks To Play in IPL 2024

In a stunning display of cricket prowess, English all-rounder Will Jacks left a lasting impression with his century for the Pretoria Capitals in the SA20 2024 tournament. The remarkable innings of 101 runs from 42 deliveries against the Durban Super Giants caught the eye of none other than AB de Villiers, the South African cricket legend and RCB stalwart.

Despite being part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad, Jacks is yet to make his IPL debut, a fact that has left AB de Villiers astounded. In a recent video on his YouTube channel, de Villiers expressed his admiration for Jacks, stating:

 "He (Jacks) has not played a game for RCB. That's crazy for all the talent that he has got." The South African maestro further emphasized Jacks' potential impact, labeling him as a "complete package" capable of winning games for RCB, whether at Chinnaswamy or any other venue."

Jacks' phenomenal form, with a total of 164 runs at a staggering strike rate of 205 in just three SA20 matches, has left RCB facing a delightful dilemma. 

The challenge lies in finding a spot for Jacks in the playing XI, given the fierce competition among overseas stars like Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, and Cameron Green. AB de Villiers hopes RCB will make room for Jacks, recognizing his ability to score big runs and be a game-changer for the team.
