Former India captain MS Dhoni, the epitome of cool, had his moments of 'uncoolness' on the cricket field, with occasional outbursts when catches were dropped, or fielding went awry.

An unforgettable incident was in the 2012 Asia Cup high stakes game against the arch-rivals Pakistan when he unleashed his fury on both the current Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

During that 2012 Asia Cup face-off between India and Pakistan at Shere Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma had a nasty head-on collision that had them wincing in pain.

The physio rushed in, but MS Dhoni was visibly miffed by the whole situation. One would have anticipated MS Dhoni's usual cool attitude with Kohli and Rohit after that collision.

However, the ‘Captain Cool’ surprised everyone by tearing into Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma for allowing three runs when there was hardly a single to be had.

A couple of days later, in a chat with Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Instagram, Virat Kohli opened up on the entire incident, shedding light on how MS Dhoni gave Rohit Sharma and himself a piece of his mind for that collision.

Here’s what Virat Kohli had stated on the funny incident:

“I was at deep mid-wicket and Rohit was at deep square leg. I came in, Rohit was also going for the ball and the right side of my head hit his shoulder. So we gave away three runs when there was supposed to be just one. MS [Dhoni] wasn’t very happy about it. He was like ‘how can these two collide and give away three runs’”

However, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli patched things up real nice by putting on a massive 182-run partnership, helping India chase down the colossal 330 runs against Pakistan. Kohli, in particular, played one of his finest innings with 183 runs, and Rohit Sharma contributed with a solid 68.
