The much-hyped Lakme Fashion Week 2023 got underway over the weekend with several high-profile designers showcasing their new collection. Apart from actors and models, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh also walked the ramp on Day 5 of the event, showcasing his prowess on the ramp as well.

Singh, walked the ramp for designer Pawan Sachdeva, which highlighted the concept of 'infinity', bringing together a mix of comfort and futurist styles. The former Indian off-spinner wore a casual black outfit shirt and a pair of trousers with a long printed trench coat that became an instant hit, only solidifying his status as the showstopper.

Talking about his debut at Lakme Fashion Week, Singh stated that his wife and actress Geeta Basra convinced the cricketer to become the showstopper. 

"..My wife actually told me - you should walk the ramp. Pawan (Sachdeva) asked me if I would walk, I told him I would but I wasn't really sure by my wife told me, you should do it...I am happy to be here."

Post cricket, Singh has ventured into the entertainment industry, acting in several movies and TV shows such as Friendship, Punjabiyan Di Dadagiri With Bhajji, and MTV Roadies Rising.

Between 1998 and 2016, the Punjab-born player featured in 367 internationals for India, scalping 711 wickets, with 28 five-wicket and five 10-wicket hauls, which includes a Test hat-trick. 

With the bat, Singh slammed 3,569 runs including two tons, and nine half-centuries.
