In the heart-pounding atmosphere of the 2023 World Cup, the fervour of the India vs. Pakistan match on October 14th at Narendra Modi Stadium was unmistakable. Rohit Sharma's impressive 86 runs off 63 balls led India to a seven-wicket victory, leaving the stadium reverberating with the chants of 'India, India.'

However, amidst the cricketing excitement, an incident of inappropriate conduct came to light, casting a shadow over the otherwise thrilling encounter.

A video clip, which quickly went viral, revealed derogatory remarks being directed at the Pakistan players by a section of the crowd. The incident left the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) deeply concerned, prompting them to take action against such unbecoming behaviour.

The PCB swiftly lodged a formal complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC), expressing their distress over the inappropriate conduct witnessed during the India vs. Pakistan match in Ahmedabad. The PCB, in its complaint, urged the ICC to take appropriate measures to ensure that such incidents do not tarnish the spirit of the game and the respect that should be accorded to all participating teams.

As the cricketing world awaits the outcome of the ICC's investigation, Pakistan now prepares to face Australia on October 20th at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
