Cricket lovers in India and across the world would've been delighted to see Rishabh Pant post a training video on his Instagram handle on Tuesday (October 17). The swashbuckling wicketkeeper-batter posted an Insta clip of him undergoing a training drill at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangladesh.

Pant, who has been undergoing his extensive rehabilitation programme under the supervision of NCA physios and medical staff for the last six months, went through sprints on a treadmill during a gym session organised for the popular cricketer.

The affectionate young Indian player held a supporting gear around him to ensure he didn't lose his balance while still training and strengthening his legs. Pant grinned at the camera capturing the drill, with the clip carrying the famous song 'God's Plan'.

Over time, Pant has adopted a rather philosophical outlook about his long recovery from a horrific car crash and the song only underlined the fact that he no longer broods over it or feels life has handed him an unfair deal after missing an entire year of cricket for India, including the ongoing World Cup 2023.

Rishabh Pant Going With The Flow In Recovery

The cricketer continues to flow with time and is only focused on controlling the controllables with his lengthy rehab. An example of which is this Instagram clip where Pant could be seen happily training for his legs on a treadmill, hoping to revive their optimum strength as he pushes hard for a return to India colours.

Pant has been at the NCA since May after throwing away the clutches he required for stepping between points. The cricketer has been gradually recovering physically and mentally from the traumatic experience of undergoing a life-threatening car accident in December last year.

Given a break from the T20I leg of India's New Year's series versus Sri Lanka, Pant, who was initially supposed to visit NCA for fitness-related work, was travelling on the Delhi-Roorkie highway when a woeful car crash left him badly bruised with multiple injuries that required surgery and extensive medical care.
