MS Dhoni is referred to as one of the calmest cricketers ever; he does not show his emotions during challenging moments in a game. However, captain cool - as they call him has also seen losing his temper in several instances.

The Chennai Super Kings captain has lost track of his emotion on his teammates during the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023). However, one of his old clips from an encounter against Rajasthan Royals from IPL 2019 has gone viral on social media, where he came onto the field from the dugout to get into a feisty conversation with the umpire and few of the then-Rajasthan players.

During that incident, in the last over of the chase, Ben Stokes bowled a high-full toss delivery to Mitchell Santner, on which the umpire, Ulhas Gandhe, signalled it a no-ball, but the square-leg umpire, Bruce Oxenford, intervened and overturned the decision.

But Dhoni wasn't impressed with that and got into the field during the course of the match. First, he exchanged some words with the two on-field umpires before RR's then-captain Ajinkya Rahane and Stokes tried cooling him off.

Eventually, Santner finished off the game by smashing a match-winning maximum to Stokes. After that, however, MSD was slammed with 50% of match fees for breaching IPL's Code of Conduct.

Interestingly, on Thursday, it would be the first time these two sides would face each other at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium after that infamous incident of IPL 2019. And, the then Royals will be wearing Chennai's yellow against their former franchise.
