[Watch] Suryakumar Yadav Takes an Inflexible Grab to Dismiss Hardik Pandya Cheaply

During the much-hyped clash between Gujarat and Mumbai, both the forces have come with their weapons sharpened. At Ahmedabad, Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first. As a result, Gujarat Titans came out to bat first, but lost their first wicket early, bringing in Hardik Pandya to the crease. However, the GT skipper too had to loss his breath as he mistimed a tough grab to Suryakumar Yadav.

While rebuilding the innings after Wriddhiman Saha early dismissal off Arjun Tendulkar, skipper Pandya joined hands with Shubman Gill.

Just when both the batters started to cut loose, the skip miscued a leg-break from Piyush Chawla straight towards long-off, where it could have been a touch and go but Surya came in between to end Pandya's day.

The hit from Hardik was smashed with full brute might that it could have parried away to the fence, but Surya's sheer brilliance sent his former MI mate back to the hut on 13 off 14 balls.

After Hardik's dismissal in the 7th over, Gill got a partner in Vijay Shankar and the duo shared 41 quick runs for the home team. However, Kumar Kartikeya removed the opener at 56, before Chawla got the better of Shankar 19.

At the time of writing, David Miller and Abhinav Mahonar are there in the middle, with GT's score 130-4 after 15 overs.
