Virat Kohli, arguably one of the greatest of the modern era, has a history of notorious behaviour, and time and again it has affected him during international cricket. There was a time when the opposition teams used to poke at Kohli, as the Indian star found it difficult to control his emotions.

However, with time and age, it has changed. There is a spark difference between the Kohli of 2008, and the Kohli we know today. However, it wasn't always the same and at one point, his aggression got the better of him in a Deodhar Trophy game in 2009.

Representing North Zone, Virat Kohli was fined 50 percent of his match-fee due to his unsporting behaviour. He was involved in an altercation with opposition bowler Dhiraj Goswami after being dismissed for just 7 runs.

Unlike Kohli, Goswami was just given a warning and he wasn't reprimanded like Kohli. This was one of the final appearances for Kohli in the domestic competitions as he eventually became a regular member of the Indian cricket team.

Kohli prepares for Bangladesh challenge

After a lengthy break, Virat Kohli is preparing for the Bangladesh Test series, scheduled to begin from September 19. He had a poor outing against Sri Lanka in the ODI series, and was trapped lbw in all three games.

The former Test captain reached Chennai on Friday, which is the venue of the first Test match and spent around 40 minutes practising spin-bowling. Bangladesh have quality spinners and they will pose a challenge for Kohli.
