Dhoni’s lightning reflex decides the nail-biting finish

In the last over, Bangladesh needed 11 runs in the last six balls, and the Men in Blue were looking forward to defending 10 runs with all their intent. With Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim on the field, Dhoni trusted Hardik Pandya in the nail-biting clash, and the world witnessed a drama.

After the over started with a single, Mushfiqur smashed two consecutive boundaries and put pressure on the opponent. In the next three balls, they needed only two runs to secure a historic win, but Pandya made an amazing comeback. In consecutive deliveries, he sent Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah back.

It was a dramatic U-turn as the pressure shifted to the Tigers. In the last ball, they needed two runs but ended up facing the biggest heartbreak. Hardik threw the delivery to Shuvagata Hom, and the batter was declared out after the third umpire checked the run.
