Andre Russell is one of the fearsome T20 batters ever produced. The powerful striker of the ball has notched up several records to his name, and has crossed yet another milestone in the IPL match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
He has now slammed 600 sixes in T20 cricket, a feat achieved by only a handful of cricketers. The West Indian cricketer achieved this record when he smashed Mayank Markande for a six in the 13th over of the match.
The record for most sixes is held by the West Indian great, Chris Gayle, who has hammered 1056 sixes, followed by another West Indies legend, Kieron Pollard, with 812 sixes to his name.
