Kuldeep Yadav shares a strong bond with Yuzvendra Chahal. The friendship dates back a decade earlier when the two budding cricketers met and became best of friends.

The two spinners became a vital cog for India in the white-ball format, and were even termed as 'Kul-Cha' by the fans. However, team combination, dip in form for both the spinners and injury to Kuldeep Yadav has seemingly ended the potent spin partnership for India.

In a recent conversation with Gaurav Kapur at Breakfast With Champions, Kuldeep opened up on his equation with Chahal and stated that he used to get frustrated during injuries and how his best friend, Chahal was always there for him.

"Whenever I was down, from the Indian team I used to talk mostly to Chahal. I used to get mood swings when I was injured and had surgery. I used to get angry every 15 minutes and vent it to him. He always advised me to just focus on the rehab and the comeback will be great. It did help me a lot."

Kuldeep also added that if he needs an advice from someone in the Indian team, the name of Yuzvendra Chahal comes up first as the duo have a great bond.

It has been a productive IPL for both the spinners. While Kuldeep has picked up 8 wickets at an economy of 6.74, Chahal has scalped 9 wickets in 9 matches, with an economy of 8.45.
