In yet another resounding victory, Rohit Sharma's Team India triumphed over Pakistan in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. The big-ticket match on October 14th, witnessed a jam packed Ahmedabad stadium, with over 100,000 spectators, as India convincingly defeated their neighbours by seven wickets.

The Men in Blue displayed a clinical performance, led by captain Rohit's stunning innings of 85 runs. They effortlessly chased down the target of 192, extending their unbeaten record to 8-0 against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup.

In their previous encounter in an ICC event, India had secured a narrow four-wicket victory in a thrilling match that went down to the last over and the last ball. Following that intense contest, the atmosphere in the Pakistan Dressing Room was somber. In an attempt to boost the team's spirits, Captain Babar delivered an inspirational speech.

"It was a good match. We gave our best effort, and although mistakes were made, we must learn from them and not be disheartened. The tournament has just begun, and we have numerous matches remaining. Remember, no one should feel disheartened. I must emphasize that our loss was a collective one; we should avoid pointing fingers at any one person. We should remain united and work on our errors,"  Babar said in a video released by the PCB.

Mohammad Nawaz's last over, where 16 runs were conceded, was crucial in India's victory in the intense match during the T20 World Cup 2022 at the iconic MCG.

"Specifically, Nawaz, do not be disheartened. You are my match-winner, and I will always have faith in you, regardless of the circumstances. You will win games for us. The efforts were commendable, especially in a high-pressure game where you took it to the wire. Very well done. Let's leave this behind and begin anew. As a team, we have performed exceptionally well, and we must maintain that spirit. I wish you all the best,"  emphasized the Pakistan captain.

Unlike last year, there hasn't been a video released by the PCB showcasing their captain, Babar, motivating his team after their eighth ODI World Cup defeat against India. Notably, despite their loss to India in the previous year's T20 World Cup, Pakistan made it to the final. Babar will be hoping for a similar outcome this year.
