Ishant Sharma Opens Up on Playing Under David Warner and More

The Delhi Capitals are keeping no stone unturned to make the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season a success. From appointing a new skipper in David Warner to bringing back Sourav Ganguly as Director of Cricket, the Delhi franchise are all-but-ready to make their presence a hit in IPL 2023.

Delhi have a potent pace bowling attack comprising Mustafizur Rahman, Lungi Ngidi, Ishant Sharma, and Anrich Nortje, who will have youngsters like Mukesh Kumar, Kamlesh Nagarkoti,  and Chetan Sakariya for support.

In a statement, Sharma, who is currently in DC's preparatory camp, spoke about playing under Warner and revealed their new future prospect in bowling.

Here's what Sharma said

"We have a lot of young talent in our squad. Chetan Sakariya, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Khaleel Ahmed are really good players. We have Aman Khan as well, who is a very good prospect for the future. 

"David Warner is a very experienced player and he has captained in IPL before. Each of us will look to carry out our roles and also back our Captain."

Aman Khan, made his IPL debut last year for Kolkata Knight Riders against Sunrisers Hyderabad.  The 26-year-old plays domestic cricket for Mumbai.

The out of favor Indian pacer also praised coach Ricky Ponting and welcomed Dada back at DC.
