As the young Indian team led by Rohit Sharma clinched victory against England, securing the series win with one Test remaining, cricket fans were treated to a nostalgic glimpse into Rohit's past. A video featuring Dinesh Lad, Rohit Sharma's childhood coach, surfaced on social media, reigniting admiration for the cricket sensation.

In the viral video, his coach reminisces about a youthful Rohit Sharma's aspirations, notably his dream of owning a Mercedes car. Despite skepticism, Sharma's unwavering confidence shone through as he declared his intention to acquire the luxurious vehicle one day. 

"Once Rohit and I saw a Mercedes car and he said, 'Sir, I will buy this car one day'. I told him, 'Are you mad? These are too expensive. But he said, 'You see, I will buy it',"  his coach recalled.


This anecdote sheds light on Sharma's determination and self-belief, traits that have propelled him to cricketing stardom.
