It was a spell of devastation against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the fourth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Yuzvendra Chahal who helped his side Rajasthan Royals (RR) earn the victory in their first game of the season.

Chahal claimed wickets of Mayank Agarwal, Harry Brook, Adil Rashid and Bhuvneshwar Kumar to halt the Sunrisers for just 131 in a chase of 204 where the leg-spinner gave away just 17 runs in his four overs.

During the post-match presentation, Yuzi remarked that the way his side started he was expecting the score to be on the higher side. Further, the 32-year-old spoke about his mindset mentioning that he is not concerned with which batter is on strike rather his focus is to follow the plan.

"The way we got the start in batting. The way Jos and Yashasvi batted, we knew that it is a big score on this pitch and it will be hard to hit. I always back myself. I don't get bothered by who's batting and all. My plan was to vary the pace and bowl stump to stump,"

Moreover, Yuzi jokingly said that he would come up with a new celebration every time he picks up a fifer.

"It's always my strength. I am not doing anything new. Sometimes I don't get wickets, sometimes I get hit, it's the same thing. When I get a fifer or something, definitely a new celebration will come. It's just a first match, too early to celebrate."

RR defeated SRH by 72 runs after high-class fifties from Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Their next encounter will be against Punjab Kings on 5th April.
