Promising English batter Harry Brook has recently grabbed a million eyeballs through his incredible consistency with the bat. After debuting in 2022, Brook has gradually established himself as a critical member of the English batting lineup, particularly in Test cricket.

The youngster, currently gearing for the IPL 2023, will undergo a challenging home summer this year, as England will host arch-rivals Australia in the five-match Ashes in June.

However, the 24-year-old seems high on confidence, as he has come up with a stern warning to the Aussies ahead of the high-voltage series.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Brook stated that he would focus on playing an aggressive brand of cricket, which he has been showcasing since debuting.

Elaborating on the matter, the swashbuckling batter revealed that he would play his natural game and help his team keep Australia under the pump.

Here's what Brook stated

"To be honest I don't care - I really don't care. The way I am going to play, the way we are playing, we will look to be positive and put pressure on them. If they bowl a bad ball I will try and hit it for four or six. It doesn't matter who you are - whether you are the best bowler in the world."

After enjoying stellar success in the New Zealand Tests, Brook was rested for the Bangladesh tour. His next assignment will be the Indian Premier League, where he will represent Sunrisers Hyderabad.
