Since making his international debut in 2022, England batter Harry Brook has taken the cricketing world by storm with his scintillating performances. Brook's breakthrough tour was in Pakistan last winter, where the youngster shattered records for fun, winning both Test and T20I Player of the Series awards, for scoring 468 and 238 runs, respectively.

Brook's outing against Pakistan led to him being purchased by Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for INR 13.25 Crore in the auction.

Brook, 24, is a T20 World Cup winner already and has called the IPL the best T20 league in the world.

The explosive player recently won the ICC Player of the Month Award for February, on basis of his exploits in Test series in New Zealand.

Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, the Yorkshire-born stated that he cannot wait to spend time with the likes of Brian Lara, Dale Steyn, and Muthiah Muralitharan, who are present on the SRH support staff.

Here's what Brook said

“It’s the best franchise competition in the world. Everyone wants to play in it. There are a lot of good players there, and hopefully, I get some opportunities to express how I’m playing at the minute – and show the world I’m capable of scoring runs anywhere.”

Brook rose to prominence after an impressive Pakistan Super League 2022 season with the Lahore Qalandars. In just 6 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 20 T20Is, Brook has amassed 1,267 runs combined.
