In a shocking news, former England cricketer, Graham Thorpe passed away, aged 55 on Monday. A veteran of 100 Tests, Thorpe was a key member of the England team during his era, and was one of the most prolific batters of his time.

When the late great Thorpe praised Kohli

Thorpe, an admirer of greatness, didn't shy away from praising Kohli, and called him 'one of the best' ahead of the series.

"We know that he is a fantastic player and he has shown that for many years now. Virat is in one of that batting orders which understands home conditions very well," Thorpe said.
