There is some good news for the Punjab Kings fans as the aggressive Englishman, Liam Livingstone has joined the Punjab Kings (PBKS) squad for the remainder of the IPL. He'll be available for selection for Punjab's upcoming clash against Gujarat Titans on April 13.

Livingstone landed in Mohali on Monday and has joined his teammates. The England batter has been troubled with knee and ankle issues and was sidelined for the last four months.

“Sher Squad, Livi is here,”  Livingstone said after he came to the PBKS team hotel.

Livingstone missed PBKS's last three IPL games and has been sidelined since making his Test debut against Pakistan in Rawalpindi.

The arrival of the 29-year-old is a massive boost for PBKS squad. Livingstone was one of the standout performers for his franchise last season, and the team management will hope that he delivers once again.

The Englishman scored 437 runs in 14 matches in IPL 2022, with an astonishing strike-rate of 182.08.

Talking about Punjab Kings' campaign so far, they won their opening two matches, but faltered in their last match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

With four points in three matches, PBKS are at the sixth spot in the IPL points tally.
