It was another big revelation from the Punjab Kings' skipper Shikhar Dhawan after their loss against Gujarat Titans as the much-awaited return of their star batter Liam Livingstone has been delayed further. This comes after it was reported that Livingstone would be available for this game but unfortunately missed out without much information.

However, after the completion of the match, Dhawan was quoted as saying that Liam pulled his muscle during the practice session yesterday and was unable to recover on time. Further, it was mentioned that he would be out for another 3-4 days which means he is likely to miss Punjab's upcoming match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on 15th of April.

"Liam Livingstone came for practice yesterday and pulled his muscle so maybe in another 3-4 days, he should be good to go,"

This was huge news for the PBKS fans considering that Livingstone played a huge role for them last year and was expected to deliver again this year.

Meanwhile, Punjab's six-wicket loss that came on the second loss delivery caused Dhawan to remark that they were short of a good total because of the lack of runs at the start which had an impact on their total.

"We didn't put much runs over there. We didn't get the good start so we have to rectify that thing going forward,"

Moreover, the captain talked about the number of dot balls that they played which was above 50 as it was difficult to make a comeback from that situation.

"If you see the number of dots ball. If a team plays 56 dots, it loses the game. Early wicket puts the team on the backfoot and we need to work on that."

Shikhar Dhawan's Punjab will next take the field against LSG on 15th April at Ekana Stadium.
