Having earned an automatic qualification in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 courtesy of being a co-host, the United States of America (USA) side has managed to surprise all with their show on the field.

Filled with part-time cricketers, one name that has managed to make an impact on the global stage is former India Under-19 player Saurabh Netravalkar, who has claimed four wickets in three matches, including the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Saurabh, who is a software engineer at Oracle, has balanced his life both on and off the field quite well, something that his sister Nidhi has now spoken about.

As per CricketNext, Nidhi revealed that the 32-year-old carries his laptop everywhere, and is busy doing his job when away from cricket.

“He’s been very fortunate to have people who have always supported him throughout his career. He knows that when he’s not playing cricket, he has to give 100 per cent to the job. So right now, when he’s working, he carries his laptop everywhere. And he has the freedom to work from anywhere," Saurabh Netravalkar's sister said.

Saurabh's breakout moment came against USA's clash against Pakistan, where the bowler defended 19 runs in the Super Over and helped his side notch up one of the biggest T20 World Cup upsets.

Nidhi further pointed out how Saurabh's work ethic comes from his Mumbai background, as the city is know for its hustle culture.
