Rains in Florida will likely wash out not just the United States vs Ireland clash but also the hopes of millions of Pakistani fans who wish to see their team advance further in the T20 World Cup 2024. 

The potential game cancellation due to the rain is not just a matter of weather. It could lead to a swift qualification for the Super Eight stage for the USA, leaving Babar Azam and his team in a precarious position. The weather forecast for Florida is not looking promising for them.

In a recent weather update by OC's correspondent, Vimal Kumar, the rains have intensified and are continuously pouring. According to reports, the India vs. Canada practice game has also been cancelled due to excess rain.

Moreover, it is expected to be mostly cloudy and humid all throughout the day accompanied by showers and thunderstorms.

Interestingly, in the history of T20 World Cup this will be the first time that Pakistan will not be qualifying for the Super Eight leg of the tournament.
