Bangladesh are all set to face South Africa in the 2nd Test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, starting on October 29. South Africa currently leads the series 1-0, and Bangladesh will be eager to level things up after a tough loss in the first match.

In the opening Test, South Africa, led by Aiden Markram, showed dominant form. They defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets, making a strong impression in the longest format. Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first but were quickly bowled out for just 106 runs in 40.1 overs. South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada, Wiaan Mulder, and Keshav Maharaj each claimed three wickets, keeping the hosts under constant pressure.

South Africa responded with a solid total of 308 runs, with Kyle Verreynne shining as he scored a remarkable 114. In their second innings, Bangladesh managed to post 307 runs, setting a lead of 105. And in no time, South Africa successfully chased down the target in their final innings, winning the match by seven wickets.
