Hosts Zimbabwe will go up against Scotland in Match 6 of the Super Sixes stage of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023, which will be held at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. With only one-qualification spot up for grabs, a win for Zimbabwe could very well book them a ticket to India, while Scotland with a win could still be in the hunt for second place.

Team Preview

Zimbabwe

In what will be the final game for Zimbabwe, they will look to overcome their loss against Sri Lanka and give themselves the best chance of qualifying for the CWC 2023 main draw.

The Craig Ervine-led side have been phenomenal in the tournament, with all their experienced players striking form. Tournament's leading run-scorer Sean Williams (588) and Sikandar Raza have been the driving force behind Zimbabwe's success thus far and will hope to make merry one last time.

Scotland

On the other hand, Scotland have been the dark horse this tournament and have beaten stronger sides like Ireland, United Arab Emirates, and West Indies. The Richie Berrington-captained XI, have displayed brilliant cricket under pressure, and could possibly stake a claim at the second qualification spot.

They still have one extra game remaining under their belt, if they are able to beat Zimbabwe. All-rounders like Brandon McMullen, Mark Watt, Michael Leask, and leg-spinner Chris Greaves have been the star performers for the Scottish side.
