The toss for the Asia Cup Under-19 first semi-final match between India and Sri Lanka has been delayed due to rain. The match is being played at the Cricket Academy in Dubai on Friday, 19 December.

Although the rain has stopped now, the pitch and the main playing area are still covered to protect them. The ground is wet, and officials are waiting for the weather and playing conditions to improve before allowing the toss to take place.

Important update: It has been raining in Dubai, which has caused the delay. Match officials are keeping a close watch on the situation and will decide once the ground is safe for play. A ground inspection is planned in about an hour, at 10:00 AM local time (11:30 AM IST). If conditions improve, the match may still go ahead.

The latest possible time to start a shortened 20-over match is 2:02 PM local time (3:32 PM IST). Further updates are expected soon.
