India Under-19 devoured Malaysia to register their third successive win in the ongoing 2025 Under-19 Asia Cup. Abhigyan Kundu slapped a record double century after blistering opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi tonked a breakneck 50.

Here, we take a look at the entire highlights of the tenth match of the 2025 Under-19 Asia Cup between India Under-19 and Malaysia Under-19, as it panned out at the 7he Sevens Stadium in Dubai on Tuesday, December 16.

Abhigyan Kundu rockets India Under-19 up to 408

India Under-19 batted first and mounted 408-7 in 50 overs. Blistering opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi smeared 50 runs off just 26 balls at the top after the early loss of opening partner and captain Ayush Mhatre. Vedant Trivedi at number four also chipped in with a calculated 90 off 106.

Attacking wicketkeeper-batter Abhigyan Kundu top-scored in the innings, plundering an unbeaten 209 in just 125 balls with 17 fours and nine huge sixes. For Malaysia Under-19, teenage quick Muhammad Akram picked up five of the seven wickets to fall in the innings, albeit at an expense of 89 runs in his 10 overs.

Deepesh Devendran skittles Malaysia Under-19

Chasing a steep 409, Malaysia Under-19 lost both openers for ducks to Kishan Singh and Udhav Mohan. Deepesh Devendran scythed through the Malaysian middle-order with five wickets in his 10 overs to claim figures of 5-22. Khilan Patel and Kanishk Chouhan also chipped in with a wicket each.

Mohan delivered the knockout blow as Malaysia folded up for just 93 in 32.1 overs as India Under-19 secured a comprehensive 315-run win. For Malaysia, tailender Hamzah Panggi himself scored 35 of those runs, while no other batter managed to go past the 15-run mark.
