Who Is Gerogia Voll? The Australian Who Hit 84-Ball Hundred In IND-W vs AUS-W 2nd ODI

India Women are up against Australia Women in the second ODI of the three-match series. She made her debut in the first game of the series and hit unbeaten 46 off 42 balls and now in the second game, she has hit her maiden ODI century off just 84 balls to put Aussies in commanding position again.

She played aggressive cricket right from the onset and delivered on the immense promise straightaway at the international level. Georgia Voll is a right-handed opening batter born in August 2003 and has been a consistent performer or Queensland in the last year or so. She bowls handy off-break as well and in the 2024-25 Women's National Cricket League, the youngster smashed 201 runs in four innings at a strike-rate of 109.84 and at a average of 67.

The Queensland girl was in good form in the recent season of WBBL as well, hitting 330 runs in 12 innings at a strike-rate of 144.74 and at a average of 30. Voll first played WBBL in 2020, and though she did not get off to a great start in the tournament, her talent was never in question. She had a better 2021 season, but it was the 2023-24 WNCL season that turned out to be a breakthrough moment with Georgia hitting 462 runs in 12 innings at an average of 42.

She has now started her international career on a promising note and looks like another Australian superstar that will rule the cricket world in near future.
