Indian team, known for their agile fielding has looked a pale shadow of their former self against Nepal in the ongoing Asia Cup match. Not one, not two, but the Indian team has dropped three simple chances, that should have been taken with relative ease.

The bowlers created the opportunity, but the fielders, including Virat Kohli and Ishan Kishan have failed to grab onto the simplest of opportunities.

While Kohli dropped a dolly at short covers in the second over of the game, it was Kishan, who followed his footsteps and dropped one of the simplest catches that a keeper can get. The incident occurred in the 5th over, when Mohammed Shami bowled a short delivery down the leg side, and the Nepal batter, Kushal Bhurtel got an inside-edge on his attempted pull shot.

The ball went straight into the hands of Kishan, who let it slip through his hands. Skipper Rohit Sharma was shell shocked, as the team had slipped three great chances to push Nepal on the back-foot.

Barring the three false shots, Nepal opening batters have looked assured and have taken the attack to the Indian new ball bowlers.
