In what can best be described as an 'edge-of-your-seats' clash, our very own Indian women successfully defeated South Africa by just four runs. A huge credit for this win goes to Pooja Vastrakar, whose last-over masterclass helped India win the second ODI of the series.

In the final over, Vastrakar first removed Nadine de Klerk. She bowled a full-length delivery outside the off stump. De Klerk sat down on a knee, hoping to hit it down the ground. However, she got beaten by the lack of pace and launched it straight to Arundhati Reddy at long-on, who held onto both her nerve and the catch. 

And then, on the very next delivery, Vastrakar once again unleashed a slower delivery pitching wide outside the off stump; Nondumiso Shangase, the new batter on strike, tried to go big and hit a cross-batted shot from the bottom of her blade; however, she hit it straight to skipper Harmanpreet Kaur at cover.

With this, India sailed right back into the game, with just six runs needed from two balls. Although SA skipper Laura Wolvaardt tried her best, she failed to make the final shot, winning India's three-match series.
