South Africa's ace wicket-keeper batter Quinton de Kock made 74 off just 40 balls on Wednesday (June 19), which included five sixes and seven fours, before Harmeet Singh's unexpected full toss ended his stay at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

After winning the toss and opting to bowl, USA stand-in skipper Aaron Jones asked Harmeet Singh to bowl the 13th over of the innings. And Harmeet bowled a juicy full-toss, which was bound to be punished. QDK, batting at his very best, tried to do exactly that, and Shayan Jahangir made no mistake while taking an excellent catch near the boundary ropes.

Interestingly, despite umpires telling him it was a fair delivery, de Kock waited for it, and asked on-field umpires to double check through the third-umpire Joel Wilson. Of course, Chris Gaffaney and Richard Kettleborough were not happy with that before Wilson confirmed it was a fair delivery and asked Gaffaney to raise his finger again.

De Kock eventually began to walk off, although he did his job with a flamboyant knock.

At the time of writing this, South Africa are 172/4 after 17.5 overs, with Heinrich Klaasen and Tristan Stubbs in the middle.
