Veteran Indian batter MS Dhoni had a sensational outing with the bat in Chennai Super Kings' ongoing IPL 2024 match against Mumbai Indians, hammering MI skipper Hardik Pandya for three consecutive sixes. 

The incident occurred during the final over of CSK's innings when MI captain Hardik Pandya brought himself back into the attack. 

However, his decision proved disastrous for his side, with ex-CSK captain MS Dhoni clobbering him for three massive sixes and ensuring a fitting finish for his side. 

Pandya began his over on a positive note, scalping the prized breakthrough of Daryl Mitchell, who was struggling to get going in the middle. However, as the Kiwi batter departed, MS Dhoni entered the middle to face the final few deliveries of the innings. 

The seasoned campaigner capitalised on Pandya's full-length bowling, smashing him for a huge six to open his account. He continued his onslaught on the premier Indian all-rounder, smacking him for two more maximums to complete hattrick of sixes. 

Dhoni finished his innings on a breezy 4-ball 20* at a blistering strike rate of 500, helping CSK finish things on a high note. His quick-fire cameo provided CSK with the much needed impetus, powering them to 206 for four in 20 overs.
