Riyan Parag came into IPL 2024 with almost everyone questioning his retention in the Rajasthan's team after failures in the previous season. However, right from the match one, the man showed his class and now in the Eliminator against RCB, he has stood tall again for his team with a brilliant knock under pressure. Hetmyer too showed his class as a finisher and it and timed his innings quite well.

The RR number four and number six played some delightful shots in their innings but it was the over of Cameron Green that almost killed the chase. RR needed 47 off 30 balls before the start of the over and Riyan decided to take on the Aussie. 

The first ball was heaved over wide long on for a six by Shimron Hetmyer off a shortish ball while on the third delivery, Parag opened up his arms and smashed a delightful six over deep extra cover.

The next ball was hit for a four over and wide of short third man and the over went for 17 runs which made the equation way too easy for Rajasthan Royals.
