The T20 World Cup is around the corner, and the USA have made a big statement with a win over Bangladesh in the first of the three T20Is. The 2nd T20I will be played at the same venue - Prairie View Cricket Complex in Houston and with this being a do-or-die game for Bangladesh, we can expect another high intensity affair.

USA are going to play the World Cup at home and ahead of the tournament they have shown the world what they are capable of. Their both batting and bowling had fire in the opening game, and with lot of all-rounders in their squad,  they have depth in the squad. 

In the last game, Steven Taylor with his off-breaks got two big wickets while Jessy Singh, Saurabh Netravalkar and Ali Khan also bowled well as a pace-bowling group. However, it was the unbeaten stand of 62 by Corey Anderson and Harmeet Singh that steal the show in the end and both of them are useful bowlers and it would be interesting to see how the home boys go about their business after their morale-boosting win in the first game.

Bangladesh

The Bangla Tigers, on the other hand, will be hurt by the loss in the first T20I. Litton Das is going through a tough phase and it is high time he gets going, before it all gets too late for him. 

They have quality in their arsenal with players like Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Shanto and Soumya Sarkar in their ranks, but currently, only Towhid Hridoy is looking in form and his 58 was the reason that Bangladesh managed to get to a decent total in the first game. 

On the bowling front, they were decent but seasoned bowlers like Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam could not find the breakthrough at the death, and USA managed to outclass Bangladesh with a brilliant run-chase. Taskin Ahmed could come in for leggie Rishad Hossain in this game, and let's see how Bangladesh respond to a shocking loss in the previous match.

The pitch at Houston in the first T20I was on the slower side and we can expect the pitch to behave in the same way in the second game as well.
