Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma received a lot of criticism for his fitness after famed wrestler Vinesh Phogat crashed out of the Olympics final for being overweight. Notably, Vinesh Phogat started her Olympic 2024 journey with a bang, securing three consecutive wins to make a grand entry into the final. 

However, she weighed 50.1 Kg, 100 grams more than the allowed number, in the morning. As a result, she suffered a devastating exit from the competition, with Cuba's Yusneylis Guzman Lopez replacing her in the final.

Meanwhile, some of Vinesh Phogat's fans couldn't digest her elimination from the Paris Olympics. They even targeted India's cricket captain Rohit Sharma, body-shaming him for his fitness. 

Despite being a legend of the game, Rohit has consistently been trolled for his fitness standards. Although he is as agile as ever, the trollers somehow find a way to scrutinise the Mumbai great. 

So, as Vinesh was disqualified from the event, some fans vented out their frustration, highlighting how Rohit keeps playing a different sport despite not meeting the international fitness standards.
