In the eliminator game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), RCB batted first and posted a total of 172 runs.

RR won the toss and opted to bowl, putting immediate pressure on RCB as batting second team had an advantage at the Ahmedabad stadium.

Virat Kohli gave RCB a solid start for RCB with a 33 off 24 balls, but RR consistently took wickets to keep RCB from peaking to their full  batting potential.

After Glenn Maxwell failed going out for a golden duck, it was the crucial innings from Rajat Patidar and Mahipal Lomror that helped RCB reach a respectable total of 172.

Shane Watson predicts exact RCB score

Jio Cinema's expert panel, consisting of Brett Lee, AB de Villiers, and Shane Watson, all former IPL players with remarkable careers in international cricket and the IPL, was asked to predict RCB's score when they were struggling at 140-5.

Brett Lee, the former KKR player, went optimistic and predicted 188 runs. AB de Villiers, a legend at RCB, trusted in Dinesh Karthik's finishing abilities and went into fan mode, predicting 194.

Meanwhile, Shane Watson, who spent two years at RCB, took a realistic approach and predicted 172. Surprisingly, Watson's prediction turned out to be accurate.

Watson was a part of the RCB team that reached the IPL final in 2016 but unfortunately lost to SRH.

He later joined CSK and played an important role in their title victory in 2018, scoring a century in the final against SRH.
