Virat Kohli disappointed fans again on Saturday while coming to bat in the second innings for India at Adelaide Oval in the Day-Night Test between Rohit Sharma’s men and Australia. The 36-year-old could only manage 11 off 21 balls before his troublesome fourth-stump delivery made his life difficult yet again.

It was a length delivery by Scott Boland and Kohli, who has a problem while tackling outside the off-stump deliveries in Tests, trying to play down the line. He ended up finding a thick outside edge, and Alex Carey made no mistake while taking a sharp diving catch.

Kohli stopped for a little to digest what actually happened before slowly starting to walk off the field. Boland, as well as the rest of the Australian players, began celebrations after what could be the most decisive wicket in the contest.

Kohli's Wicket Brings Rohit Sharma In Early

Meanwhile, the wicket of Virat Kohli, followed by Shubman Gill's departure, led India to bring in their captain Rohit Sharma quite early in the middle. Rohit, who is batting at No. 6, is currently at the crease alongside Rishabh Pant, who has been hitting crazy shots from left, right, and centre ever since coming on.

At the time of writing this, India are 100/4 after 19.3 overs, trailing by 57 runs. Australia, riding on Travis Head's excellent show, posted 337 in the first innings in reply of India's 180.
