At last, Pakistan managed to dismiss the dangerous Finn Allen as leg spinner Usama Mir trapped the Kiwi batter with a terrific googly to end the batter's exceptional knock of 74 runs in 41 deliveries.

It was nothing short of a one-man show from New Zealand opening batter Finn Allen at Seddon Park, Hamilton, as his side took on Pakistan in the second T20 international of the five-game extensive bilateral series.

After being put in to bat first, Allen absolutely hammered the Men in Green's highly acclaimed frontline pace attack. The opening batter showed no mercy towards Haris Rauf, especially as he and Conway slammed 30 runs in his first two overs.

Not only that, Allen didn't even spare the Pakistani skipper from his onslaught. With the momentum on his side, the Kiwi batter capitalized on the start to slam a magnificent 24-ball half-century. Owing to Finn Allen's onslaught, the Kiwis managed to put up 97 runs in the first 10 overs.

That being said, Allen didn't relent with his ultra-aggressive approach until Pakistani leg spinner Usama Mir cleaned him up in the 13th over of the first innings.

Mir had to produce something noteworthy to get Allen out, and he surely understood the assignment. The spinner bowled a googly on the fuller length, which the opening batter horribly failed to read.

He tried to take a swing but was beaten as the ball crashed into the stumps to award Usama Mir his maiden T20 wicket. Subsequently, the men in green breathed a sigh of relief as the slaughter from the Kiwi batter finally came to an end.

However, on the flip side, Kiwi's star of the game, Finn Allen, walked off to heartwarming applause from the fans and his teammates alike. Moreover, his fiery innings of 74 runs off 41 deliveries allowed New Zealand the privilege of a dream start.
