Gujarat-born Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja was spotted seeking blessings at Matana Madh temple situated in the heart of Kutch, accompanied by his wife Rivaba Jadeja ahead of the crucial five-game Test series against England.

Jadeja has been a key figure in the Indian cricket team owing to his exceptional all-round skills. Jadeja is perhaps the only few players across the globe who can create a massive impact on any game with the ball, bat, and his remarkable fielding skills.

The all-rounder visited the prestigious temple of goddess Ashapura, located in the heart of the city of Kutch, Gujarat. Jadeja was accompanied by his wife Rivaba, who is interestingly a politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Jadeja shared pictures of his trip to Matana Madh on social media and expressed his utmost devotion to the goddess Ashapura.



The posts also resonated with fans, who appreciated the cricketer's humility and his acknowledgement of the role that faith and tradition play in his life.

That being said, the CSK cricketer has been selected to be in India's squad for the first two Tests against England. 

Given the home advantage, the selection committee chose to add as many as four full-time spinners. Besides Jadeja, Ravi Ashwin, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav will travel with the side for the initial two games.
