Swashbuckling batter Travis Head had a memorable outing against Rajasthan Royals, as his power-packed knock ensured a dream start for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing IPL 2025 match. Opening the batting for SRH, Head, as expected, took the RR bowlers to the cleaners during his blistering innings.

After winning the toss, RR's stand-in captain Riyan Parag opted to bowl first. His decision proved disastrous for the visitors as Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head smashed the RR bowlers to all parts of the ground. 

Although Maheesh Theekshana managed to get the priced scalp of Abhishek, Travis Head continued his onslaught on the inaugural champions. The explosive southpaw took a particular liking for Jofra Archer, hammering him for 23 runs in a single over. 

The incident occurred during the fifth over of SRH's innings when Head was just joined by Ishan Kishan following Abhishek's departure. 

After hitting Archer for a boundary and a six, Head struck three fours off Archer's bowling, ensuring a great start for his side. 

His fireworks made SRH owner Kavya Maran happy, as she cheered for the Australian batter with ecstatic claps. 

SRH Breach 100-Run Mark Inside 7 Overs

Despite losing Abhishek Sharma for 24, SRH didn't let the momentum slip out of their hands. Travis Head and Ishan Kishan helped the home team score at a rapid rate, powering them to 100 inside seven overs. 

As of writing, SRH were 106 for 1, with Head and Ishan batting on 49* and 29*, respectively.
