During the 23rd match between Dubai Capitals and Sharjah Warriors, Tim Seifert’s master throws behind the stumps left Najibullah Zadran stunned as he got dismissed off a run-out. Seifert emulated MS Dhoni to make a flying throw that crashed into the stumps.
The ILT20 is approaching its business end of things and for the 23rd game, Dubai Capitals faced off with Sharjah Warriors at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Capitals batted first but after a 60-run opening partnership between Adam Rossington and Shai Hope, the middle order collapsed.
More than 5 batters were dismissed on single-digit scores, pushing the Capitals to a humiliating collapse. Moreover, to add to the misery, Najibullah Zadran got run out owing to Tim Seifert’s sensational presence of mind behind the stumps.

The dismissal of Najibullah Zadran during a crucial phase of the game left spectators stunned. In what appeared to be a straightforward single, miscommunication and a lack of urgency resulted in a costly run-out that showcased brilliant fielding by Jason Roy and quick-thinking by Tim Seifert.
It all began when Shai Hope tapped the ball toward cover and called for a quick run. Najibullah responded but seemed far from committed to the task. Jason Roy sprinted in and collected the ball swiftly, although his throw was less than ideal.
Yet, in this situation, Seifert, stationed behind the stumps, showed great reflexes as he clicked the ball onto the stumps accurately. He pulled off an MS Dhoni trademark throw which caught Zadran by surprise.
What stood out was Najibullah's lack of effort to reach the crease. There was no dive, stretch, or evident urgency to make his ground. Instead, he laboured across with minimal energy and fell well short.
With that wicket, Dubai Capitals were four wickets down with just 85 runs on the board and eventually finished with a below-par total of 131 runs.
