In the 32nd match of the World Cup 2023, the Proteas are taking on the Kiwis in Pune. Both teams have been playing excellent brand of cricket and are among the top four in the points table. Trent Boult, the ace bowler of New Zealand's pace attack, has drawn the first blood in the form of Temba Bavuma who departs after a 24-run knock.

Temba's team may have been smashing bowlers, but he has not been up to the mark with the bat. Having missed a couple of matches, Temba has scored just 111 runs in five games and is still looking to convert those fiery starts.

On the other hand, Trent Boult has been excellent and has already picked up ten wickets in seven games and is yet to complete his spell in the ongoing game against South Africa. When it comes to swinging the ball, he is one of the finest from New Zealand.

Here's the video of the dismissal of South African skipper, Temba Bavuma:

Trent Boult and Matt Henry were bowling tight lengths to keep the South African openers in check. Despite not getting wickets in four overs, Tom Latham decided to give one extra over to Trent Boult as he was successful in troubling De Kock, but Temba, who was looking in great touch tried to play a drive away from his body nicking the ball into the hands of Daryl Mitchell, who was standing a bit wider than the first slip.

Now De Kock has started to look good and continuing his golden run in this World Cup. The South African team will be looking to post a big total in order to defend and seal their sixth victory in the tournament.

The South Africans are cruising in Pune with the bat against the BlackCaps, Quinton de Kock and Rassie van der Dussen are batting brilliantly on a dual-paced track. At the time of writing, the scoreboard is reading 138/1 after 27 overs.
