Hardik Pandya and his utility in the Indian white-ball team is second to none and his all-round skills are crucial in terms of maintaining the balance for this Indian team. However, the swashbuckling all-rounder suffered a left ankle injury against Bangladesh in Pune and since then, Hardik has missed games against New Zealand and England. Now, according to a PTI report, he is set to miss two more games which are against Sri Lanka and South Africa and might return for India's final league game of World Cup 2023 against the Netherlands on 12th of November.

Hardik Pandya suffered a heartbreaking injury while trying to stop the ball off his own bowling. Hardik actually tried to bowl following some treatment by physio but could not and immediately went off the field. The scan reports initially revealed no major injury but the team management has been pretty cautious with regard to the all-rounder's fitness and has not decided to rush him.

The good thing for the home side has been that their batters and bowlers have been in great form and India have won all their six games so far.

The good thing for the home side has been that their batters and bowlers have been in great form and India have won all their six games so far. However, without Hardik Pandya, India don’t have a natural sixth bowling option which can be critical in big games, especially in knockouts.
