[Watch] Tanzim Hasan Takes A Superb Running Catch As Rishad Draws First Blood For Bangladesh

In Match No. 52 of the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, Tanzim Hasan Sakib took a remarkable running catch to dismiss opener Ibrahim Zadran. 

Earlier in the match, Rashid Khan won the toss and chose to bat first. The Bangladesh bowlers, however, kept the run rate under control and restricted Afghanistan's use of the powerplay. 

And to take more control of the match, Rishad Hossain scalped the first wicket of the game. He bowled a flighted delivery, full and pitched outside the off stump, which tempted Ibrahim Zadran to go for a big slog. 

The Afghan opener failed to time the shot properly and sent the ball high in the air on the off side. 

Tanzim Hasan Sakib sprinted in from long-off and took a superb running catch to dismiss Zadran, ending his scratchy innings.

The disciplined bowling performance by Bangladesh has effectively restrained Afghanistan's batting lineup. At the current moment, Afghanistan stand at 84/4 in 16.4 overs. 

Bangladesh's bowlers have managed to curb Afghanistan's scoring rate and take key wickets, keeping the game tightly contested.
