Suryakumar Yadav is one of the finest T20 batters in the world and has a great ability to mix consistency with aggression. However, in the ongoing T20I series against South Africa, he has failed to live upto his billing and after scoring 21 and 4 in the initial two matches, he has managed just one run in the third T20I.

The Indian skipper's wicket fell on the fourth delivery of the 10th over. It was a fullish delivery from Andile Simelane and he bowled it way outside off. It has been a plan of the home team against Suryakumar Yadav and it has worked wonders. He went for his trademark slash, opening the phase of his blade, but he failed to get the desired distance and Marco Jansen at deep backward point took a fine catch. It was a big, big wicket for South Africa and soon they got rid of Hardik Pandya as well, reducing India to 132-4 in the 13th over.

Earlier, India were asked to bat first by Aiden Markram and Sanju Samson bagged his second consecutive duck. Abhishek Sharma though fired in this game and scored a much-needed fifty before Keshav Maharaj got the better of him. Tilak Varma though kept India going with his stunning hitting and India would be looking to take a 2-1 lead in the series after losing the second game of the four-match T20I series.
